Does it seem to anybody else that there are an unusual number of tritonias in the water this winter? I'm seeing them just about everywhere.

These were the first I've seen on the rocks at hudson. No sea pens close by

I was thinking the same thing. Prior to this year I'd seen maybe two or three pink tritonias, ever. This year I've seen literally dozens, including several today at Cove 2.

I've seen several pink tritonias at cove 2 as well, including a monster sized one at the I-beams. It was enormous! I've been seeing a lot of diamonbacks along the boundary line too....I guess that's what happened to the field of baby sea pens that sprouted up there last year.
