Just checked it out in the Dentist Office this morning, WOW very cool Six Gill Researcher in the Roatan with his DIY Sub.

A must see article.

Just read it last night- I wish the article was a little longer, but it was a fun read. That guy sounds like a real piece of work.

He says a unit that would pass regulations would cost double the $200K he spent on his sub which he has taken to 2,200' several times.

He has logged over 1080 dives in his submarines (he has built 2), and claims to have spent more time between 1000' and 2000' than anyone else. His sub has life support for up to 3 days, and he has at times spent the entire night in it.

Anyone have a half mil they will give me to make a sub? I'll let you ride in it any time you want to...
