is the USB port on the iPhone only for charging it or docking it to a computer -- or can you plug other peripherals into the iPhone?

seriously, through, i'm pretty sure you can't use it that way, yet. i know a couple folks that have iPhones and have read a bit about them, and never heard that mentioned.

sucks. if i could plug my sensus pro into an iphone and download the information, apple would have a sale.

if i can program the iphone through the USB interface, i can read it. the documentation on how to address the memory in the sensor is publically available.

the sensus doesn't have a wifi interface, so i'd need to hook it up to a computer anyway, which defeats the purpose...
