Free travel ops in exchange for video

Post by girldiver »

I've posted in the video section a few months ago looking for photographers and videographers for upcoming articles for a few dive publications I affiliate with. However, while the photographers came...there doesn't appear to be any videographers who are either using this site...or perusing that column.

Here's the gig: I'm a staff editor for a magazine in Europe who would like to take my column to the next level...with video. The magazine has over 100,000 viewers per month and is going to be translated into 3 languages starting in 2009. I also have an open invitation to add video to a video magazine in Canada. Both of these magazines are looking for the next GirlDiver adventure. With DEMA coming up, and my editors at the show, GirlDiver adventures will be venturing to other locations around the globe.

The challenge: I need a videographer. And they have to like travel and exposure of their work. They have to be willing to have amazing adventures and view things only seen on the Discovery Channel. Ice diving, shark diving, DPV challenges...who knows??

I'm opening this up locally first (as I'm still the NW girl...). So, if you know of a videographer who may not peruse this site, but they dive in our Emerald Seas....send them my way! I'll fill them in on the rest of the details and upcoming adventures along the way.

For the last GirlDIver adventure: On video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSsM2so5L-8 and the article can be seen in section 3 at http://www.xray-mag.com/en/Latestissue

Thanks!!
