You guys are my HEROES!!! :supz:

Awesome that you did it - and under those conditions?!?! :notworthy:

I just got my NW Dive news and there's a good article about the new reef going in and it has a nice drawing for how it's laid out too.

But the best part is we now have a baseline to compare future surveys with.

A jillion thanks to you, Tom and David!! \:D/

It was fun to have a reason to get a dive in with Tom! :occasion5:

It actually didn't feel that cold out. Guess I am use to having lots of layers on. Beats the heck out of overheating on hot summer days IMHO

OK, so let's see some pics! What did it look like? Construction sign? You guys with frozen hair? Anything?

Enquiring minds want to know!

Not a whole lot to take pics of, but at your request - some pics are here .

Here's the sign in the parking lot - quite a lot of info on it, actually.

Close up of the map.

Not alot of snow in the parking lot, but enough to have to take it into account. Those waves are ALOT bigger than they look, BTW, and the surface swim was LONG into the wind and waves.

Image

We're probably 100 to 150 yards from shore at this point, one pic is in the trough the other is kind of on top.

Not much life to speak of. It will be fun to see what happens here over the next year or so!

Janna, any word if construction has begun yet?

Cool pic for sureI've never seen them stacked like that before
Hey mike do you have a bigger close up of the site map? I'd like to get a better look and the text is unreadable in that one. Also hang on to those they will make great dive maps once it's finished.
