Hi All
I came across these interesting guys this weekend in the SJI's. I haven't seen these before, and I couldn't find them in my id books. Any ideas?

Looks like a hatch of baby white sea cucumbers to me.

Yeah a nice little trio of Cucumbers there. They must have been spooked by something, cause they're completely drawn in and squished up.

Also, what's that they're clustered around? Anemones?

Yes, looks like several little pulled-in anemones of some kind. And I agree about the cukes. I can see how they look a lot like some kind of nudibranch from that angle.

Very nice shot Yelloweye. There's sure a whole lot of action packed in that picture

The things in the middle look like a small cluster of closed-up Zoanthids to me, surrounded by three white (or Pale) Sea Cucumbers.
