Drysuit found floating in Cove 2 (Alki) on 10/29

Howdy...

I'm posting here and Craigslist in hopes of finding the person who is missing a pretty nice drysuit. I came across it while diving cove 2 on Saturday. Appropriately creepy for a halloween weekend dive...as I saw it from below at about 15 feet...all spread out like a body!

Gives me chills just thinking about looking up and seeing a headless lifeless suite floating above me.

Wow, now that takes the cake as far as dive gear left behind and later found. Creepy indeed, like the headless horseman only floating above you. Eek!

Yeah...if I saw that I would probably need a new drysuit myself...

I wonder if someone left it laying on the beach to dry out and then forgot about the tide.... #-o

Nah. It was those Ultra Fast Marine Flesh Eating Bacteria that get in divers ears when they equalize. Little buggers don't waste any time.

I have visions of a dry suit lying across the top of a car, as an errant gust of wind hits it and it sails over the heads of all the divers, off into the middle of Elliott Bay . . .

Perhaps someone had it hanging over a rail on a boat charter? We may consider calling the charters.

Or maybe someone was dealing with a neo neck seal and pitched the darn thing into the ocean because he didnt have Mr. Fessler's awesome expert advise on how to fix it ;-)

Shy of a leaky exhaust, I am staying completely dry now :notworthy:
