Oh, I am SO envious of the Cockerel's dorid!
BTW, I looked up lumpies. The reason the ones you are seeing are all greenish is because they are all females. Females are greenish-gold; males are pink, purple, orange, and other colors. (At least according to Milton Love.)

This is a terrific idea for a thread Bob. It was nice seeing many old faces and quite a few new ones last night at "The Dond." Here's my small contribution of more friends than lumpies.
The sunset was beautiful. This was at the end of dive 2.
The first dive of the day was filled with tiny nudis in the 10-12 fsw range.
Dive 3 was lumpsuckers galore. All of the ones I found were in the kelp and really small.
I love the color of this one.
I am one with the flounder.
The white-lined dironas were so plentiful during the day I was guilted into taking a couple of pics. Kind of like photographing black rockfish.
This was the most cooperative lumpie of the day. Most were tucked under kelp hanging upside down.
I love these little guys and they were everywhere in the shallow cobble substrate.
Of course you can never get enough sailfin sculpin. The eel grass was infested with them but it was impossible to get a good pic.
And finally, I found one hooded nudibranch. The creature I was most hoping to see and he was in horrible location.

Ah, You saw one of my big white nudies.
Fun trying to get a good pic isn't it?
That is a black belly eel pout, pretty common there
Nice find on the Pink. I have never seen one at the Dond.

Missing? What happened? Inquiring minds want to know. It couldn't possibly be anything controversial.

No worries, buddy. I'll be using those short fills tomorrow morning in the eel grass!
I really don't know if they're short fills or not. I'm just assuming!

I had to get in on the Lumpie show. I love diving to finds these little critters. The most I have seen on one dive is 3, until tonight. We drop in about 9:15 and saw around 12 different Lumpies. I really started losing count :-) We were down for only 48 minutes and had a blast. Here is my favorite shot. These little things are tough to photograph. Happy Lumpie diving you all!

Redondo is always great! I got there too late for lumpies, but it was still a great day. The weather was cold and clear and the water was loaded with the usual suspects. Ron and James it was good to see you guys!

Great shots, as always! I've never seen the critter in your last pic before!
I see that the wolfie has moved.

I had never seen one before either, I think it is a silver spot sculpin.
