Hermit ID?

Post by Chenari »

Hey Greg, we found a Hermit Crab today that we're having a little trouble identifying. It was near the Cabin Cruiser at TTN. You can get an idea of its size from the clam shell it's sitting in in the picture. I think it's a Paguristes turgidus. What I can see in the picture seems to fit.

Awesome. Thanks, Greg!

The bright orange caught my eye as I was passing over. At first I thought it was either a Hairy or a Furry. But I got the picture on the computer, and was pretty excited to think I'd found a new one.
