REI

I'd call REI and ask which store has the backups in stock. They are a princeton light dealer and usually have the backups at one of the stores in the area.

Lights are the same...just the housings are made for underwater...

If you can't find them, I've got a princeton tec light you can borrow as your back-up.

I ended up sending my surge back to them as the switch kept failing. They're sending me a "Torrent" in exchange.

REI is the best suggestion I can think of for the bulbs... the seattle flagship has a TON of PT lights.

I love my surge, but the electronics fried

the wrapper said something like "8" probably indicating the 8 batteries the surge uses

crap; i was in tacoma monday and tuesday. unless you're coming to seattle for some reason, i won't have time to come get them. no worries; i will check a couple more stores locally and if not; i'll just hope the bulbs we have won't crap out on us. i do have a primary that should be okay regardless ...
