This past weekend, I discovered Lake Crescent, just inside the olympic national forest. It's crystal clear and slightly warmer than the ocean. Surface elevation is below 1000 feet, so no special requirements there. I have not dove there before, but others have. I want to attempt 2 dives, which will both be easy-going "scouting" dives, as the area is new.
I am a PADI rescue diver and I dive wet while smoking around 32-34% Nitrox. I have 40 logged dives.
Side note: My wife will be joining in on the 2nd dive. She is a newly certified SSI diver and has a whopping 4 dives on the books. Another reason to take it slow.
I REALLY want to go dive this site, so let me know!

Lake Crescent is very well known amongst divers. You'll find that unless you go to one of the known dive sites there really isn't a whole lot to see. Also, as a word of warning, the lake tends to get VERY deep VERY quickly. And by "VERY"
I mean in the hundreds of feet.
Here's a link to Lake Crescent dive sites for you. http://www.straitscuba.com/Dive%20Sites ... scent.html
Good luck!
