Now there's a beer dedicated to Sea Stars to raise awareness of the wasting disease. A portion of the proceeds from the sales will go towards research conducted by Partnership for Interdisciplinary Studies of Coastal Oceans (PISCO).

I saw this somewhere, can't remember where, but it is AWESOME and also a good way to celebrate and support the healthy return of our sea stars. Like I needed more excuses to drink beer

I first saw it on Jan's Whidbey Island Critters thread.

I bought a case of it from their first run. Apparently it didn't turn out the way the brewer had hoped, so they discounted it to get it off the shelves. I'm not sure if they've tried it again since then or not.
