Moss Bay dive. From what I was told, you have to book your group ahead of time and pay a $25 fee. It's a easy shore access once you lug your gear down the hill. Great spot for a dive+BBQ.
The site is a clay wall that slopes gradually 20-40 feet before dropping off in levels past 130'. Fingers jut out from the wall. The topography reminds me of some wall dives I've done in the Caribbean. Would love to come back with nitrox fills, but there's good diving between 40-60. Spotted dozens of buffalo sculpins, several red Irish lords, lotta copper and brown rockfish, crabs, a couple juvenile wolf eels, a field of hundreds of baby sea pens on a shallower shelf, lots and lots of clams, a couple ratfish, several clown nudibranch.
