Harbor Seals of Alki

The seals were out again last night at Cove 2 and this time we had excellent visibility. Here's some clips I put together from the dive. I'm hoping for more fun encounters over the coming winter. Man they're fun to watch!!

I circle-of-lifed a small red octo once on a night dive at Alki. Lit the little guy up with my light a bit too long. One second he was there. Then swoosh goes the seal and with it the octo. I felt bad.

That is an outstanding video. I've been trying for a couple of years to get shots like that. Mostly a loose nut behind the camera at my ends.

Thanks guys! still working on getting better lighting and holding the camera steady though.
