What's a Fair Price?

Need some advice of a fair price to offer for an AL 80:

My neighbor who stopped diving several years ago lent me his Luxfer AL 80. It is in excellent shape.

The hydro had expired, so I had it hydro'd, rebuilt the valve, and VIP'd 2x (have been using it a lot for over a year).

He'll be moving soon, and I'm thinking of offering to buy it off of him, but not sure how much to offer. A quick internet seach shows I can get a new one for $130 - $160 or so.

Is HALF of that reasonable / fair?.

Any thoughts?

Most used Al80s I see sell for around $60-100 depending on condition.

I think half is reasonable. I would offer about $70 or so.
