Where is a good place to post dive gear for sale?

Post by Old Crab »

Sadly I must stop diving for the sake of back and joints. I have degenerative disc disease and Osteo-Arthritus and I have held on as long as I could, but it is time to stop. I have a lot of dive gear, because I always had spares of everything, but I need to sell it and I'm looking for the best place to post it for sale. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Eric :crybaby: :crybaby:

You can always start by listing it here.
It's not broken - it's just missing duct tape!

Craigslist has been a great place for me to unload used gear. I have sold at least 20 pieces of gear over the last year using it. It just takes patience and a reasonable price for what your selling. I have used SB and the Deco Stop but shipping can be a pain in the butt. Also attached photos can be very helpful. Anything I have ever posted without pics just sits......

Dive gear to be sold

Post by Old Crab »

High Tide Dry Suit for someone approx. 6'0 and 180 lbs.
Two sets of double tanks, Alum. 80's
Two single tanks, Alum 80's
One SEATEC Sunfish BC, same as used by the military
Two SEATEC BCs, Horse collar
Two Conshelf SE3 Regulators, best regs. they ever built, you cannot over breath these, w/guage and compass, depthguage
Two Night Rider Dive lights
DC 500 Sealife Camera with extra lenses and extra battery
Lots of extra weight, 5 & 10 lb, some smaller
Weightbelt harness w/40 lbs. of weight, over the shoulder
various gauges
various reg parts
New size 11 booties

I will post more of the list in a little while there is a lot more. I was a Navy Diver for many years and I have a lot of stuff. I have sold a few things already, but right now this is what I have. Everthing is in working order. One set of tanks needs a visual, but the rest are in current inspection.

How much for the camera? Does it have an external strobe?

DC500 Pro w/strobe. $490.00. You can buy a new one for $500 without the strobe, but the strobe is about $100.00

Everything works fine and is complete with extra lenses, 16x, 8x, 3x, and extension wand, which is another $100 of more.
