Northwest Dive Club

The Yakima Dive Club enjoyed adventures diving Hood Canal September 10-12, 2021
Our yearly 'pirate' weekend was based at The Yellow House in Hoodsport, Wa.
Three days of diving Sund Rock, "Pirate's Cove" shore dives and
two days of chartering YSS's dive boat "Miss Saltwater Therapy".
Boat dive sites included Pinacle, Elephant Wall, Jorstad Creek and Flagpole.
Numerous wolfies to go along with the cloud sponges at Flagpole.
Viz was poor down to 35 feet but by 60 feet, pretty clear 30+ feet.
Shall have a multimedia in the future.

Was fun weekend.
We, Yakima Dive Club, did not do flags on dive boat.
YSS did the flags and Captain John & Captain Steve dressed up for the weekend too.
Great dive shop and charter boat.

What a gorgeous time out!

I wanted to come down that weekend but MZ had family obligations... My friend was there for all the fun and diving with the club members ..

Every year The Pirates take over Hoodsport and I'm glad to be part of the crew. Lots of interesting creatures under the sea, saw my first Golfball crab at Flagpole. Unfortunately there are no pictures, so it didn't happen. I didn't see 8 Octos' or about 40 Wolf eels either. Stupid rules.
