Hi Everyone,

I have taken my open water, advanced open water, and just finished my dry suit certifications. I am a proud graduate of Edmonds Underwater sports, great group of people! I also, just finished purchasing all my basic equipment, including my drysuit,so I'm looking forward to...DIVING into the sport! I wonder how many times that joke has been made on here. :breakdance:

I'm a Washington native and I am excited to explore the state's underwater sites. Please feel free to drop me a line with any advice, or just to say hi. Looking forward to seeing y'all in the water!

Best,
Scuba-T

Well we have dives in the Everett area on Tuesdays and Wednesdays pretty regularly and they are night dives during the winter. I can understand that may be a long trip in horrible traffic though. We are trying to get some more weekend dives going and will update here when we do... in Dive Planning

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! Is anything special needed for a night dive?

Best,
Tony

A trustworthy primary and also a backup light, I’d say for starters.

And if you intend on making a night dive, simply let us know and we will have lights for you, as well as a buddy.

Thanks for the invite to the night dive, but I thought about it and I think that's a bit beyond my comfort zone at this point. However, if you do get a dive on a weekend together I'd definitely be interested.

This is a smart approach of being on the right side of caution, imho.
