Hello everyone...

Let's see... I'm a French expat, living in Seattle for 7 1/2 years, and I'm going to be 35 in July. I work for Microsoft & live in Queen Anne.

I used to dive 20 yrs ago in France, but let my certification lapse, and I got re-certified last year in Cozumel, which is a really nice spot. I'm hoping to find here some good advice on diving spots, etc, and I hope to hook up with existing divers around here who can show me around and don't mind mentoring me a bit (I'm very comfy underwater, but the fact is, I'm new...)

Also, I recently got a fantastic DSLR (EOS-D20), and I *might* one day try to take underwater pics.

Cheers,

Joss

Ah, the Ayn Rand fan- welcome to our little club! Nice to meet you, or should I say "enchante?"

The only other French divers I met were very, very good. So, I trust that a countryman of Jacques Cousteau would make a good addition to the Club. Let us know when you're ready to go \:D/

Thanks all. For now, it seems my first priority would be to find a good shop in Seattle to set up a drysuit orientation & rent equipment from...
