I did a dive tonight with H20Doctor at the Mukilteo oil dock, and saw 2 shrimp I've never seen before -
So I got home, and broke out my brand new copy of "whelks to whales" and I think I have them both IDed. I think the first is a Stout Coastal Shrimp, and the second is a beach hopper. Am I right? I'm new at this.
Also, a spiny pink scallop? -
and a Clown Dorid? -
But I'm having trouble with this one since it looks like a Giant White dorid, but it's yellow. A giant Yellow dorid?????
I'm liking the critter ID stuff, it's like an underwater scavenger hunt....
Many thanks to all the critter ID masters!

Is that also what this is? I've been wondering since I took the picture a few weeks back ...Greg Jensen wrote: The second is a deep blade shrimp, Spirontocaris prionota.
