Mystery Thingy

Post by dwashbur »

I must apologize in advance for these pictures. We found this little white whatsit at the end of our dive at Harper's Ferry and snapped a couple of quick pictures because my daughter was getting cold. Both were badly overexposed and basically came out as white blobs. I did some monkeying with them in Photoshop and managed to lift out a little detail, which I present here. This thing almost looks like a nudibranch of some sort, because those little things toward the bottom end look a lot like rhinophores, but we're not sure. Any help would be appreciated. And if nobody can figure it out, oh well.
