Striped perch don't usually hold still for a picture, especially ones this big. This guy was a good 6-8 inches long, and just sitting there. Of course, it was around 11:00 PM, so we suspect he was probably sleeping. Anyway, he held still long enough for my wife to get this delightful shot of him:
