When I did a REEF survey for our dives at Port Townsend this weekend, and reported that we found an Oregon Triton, the online survey system questioned me because either they had never been reported at Union Wharf before, or less than 1% of surveys from there included it. I'm wondering if the one we found was really that rare for the area? We have proof:
That thing in the foreground of the first picture is Chenari's Light Cannon for size reference, and I hate the way this @!#$ system is clipping images these days...
A Rare Find?
A Rare Find?

Your photo is 1024 X 1010 pixels. The site will automatically crop all photos so that they are 800 pixels wide.
If you don't want photos cropped, please refer to the thread below:

Yeah, I know... I've had it clip photos that I resized to 800 as well, but that's another subject. Anyway, what about the presence of the Triton?

Dave I think they have had very few surveys done in this area. That is probably why the question.dwashbur wrote:Yeah, I know... I've had it clip photos that I resized to 800 as well, but that's another subject. Anyway, what about the presence of the Triton?
