Hi all!
HideAwayJohn here- I run Browning Pass HideAway resort, when I'm not "working" in the office!
I used to run Clavella Adventures Liveaboard from 1980 to 2002. The HideAway is right where the diving is, so hassle-free full service, full on diving, great meals and comfy accommodations are here for you...
We just had John Rawlings, Nailer99, Pez, Maverick and Cuppie up for a few days- they've put in Trip Reports under...
Trip Reports! search for "Hideaway" and please check them out! Nice pics, and I'm blushing from the complimentary things they've said...
If you're thinking Vancouver Island, think Port Hardy...

This is a good thing....when Nailer "gushes", it tends to get (ahem) a bit messy...and the smells can be somewhat frightful!

It's about time the PNW had a big dive show- it's hard for us all to connect when we're all spread out over several states and provinces.
Now we just need for everyone that's into or thinking of diving to attend!

Looks like I missed another great trip.
I could not get the time off from work.
Based on what I've seen here on the board and heard from J. R.,
I will definatly get up there some day!

Thanks! We sure had fun, and the usual great Port Hardy area conditions.. wish you could have made it too....but the "real world" sometimes just gets in the way!
Oh well, next time! Sounds like there are plans starting to come together for a return trip with J.R. and the gang... date TBA I'm sure!

There's a Nakwakto presentation Saturday 5 PM, Room 405 by Jett Britnell- He'll show his usual stunningly good photos, and he's an interesting presenter... Also Barb Roy is doing an "All over BC" presentation Sat 3 PM, Room 405 as well... she's a really good and well-travelled u/w photographer

Hi Guanjin- It was absolutely my pleasure to get to show and the gang some of that Browning Pass great stuff! Heard there's a trip shaping up in Sept-Oct thru diveidc. Also, did you get my email message?

Those were really great dives. Thinking about Hardy, I don't feel like diving in Vancouver anymore :p

I didn't get any emails from you. I don't think I'm in the email list cuz I decided to join the trip in a really short notice. I was planning to go back there again sometime soon. Maybe not in October, I was thinking lat August to September if you have some organized trips already
