Dove our local Rockaway last weekend. 35 to 40 foot viz with social distance diving.
Apologies, but I am brain farting here - where is Rockaway?
And 35-40 ft vis? WOW!

Both days were truly epic. One could clearly see the reefs and the metridium s from reef to reef. Ling on eggs, nudis by the dozens, wolf eel, pregnant rockfish. More than anything, just great diving. Saturday, sun and calm surface. Sunday was blown out by wind by wonderful once under. Sadly, they have now closed off the park so, we are banned which is frustrating as we all kept a very clear social distance form each other.
We will dive again soon enough.
Be safe out there

The park at Rockaway opened back up to local diving and park visitors practicing social distancing. Part of our regular buddy team met, geared up away from each other, buddy checked at a distance and set out for a great dive. Much wind chop at the surface and respectable current making for a fun work out down to the deep reef and back. Viz was at least 25 to 30 feet. 3 different wolf eels out wondering where we have been. Lingcod, nudi's and typical cast of characters. Praying the viz holds and so glad to be back in the water!

Mukilteo T Dock on Saturday 5/9/20 had the usual swamp water down to 20 fsw on the first dive before opening up nicely to maybe 30 ft at the dome. With the huge exchange going into a minus 2 low tide, the layer of schmoo was down almost to the dome on the 2nd dive and vis was down to a dirty 15 ish.
I was out on San Juan Island for work on Thursday and the water in Haro Straight was aquarium-like when looking down from the shore. It had to be 50+ easy. If anyone has a boat I would suggest getting out there soon!
