Les Davis Pier... bridge structure

Post by BASSMAN »

Okay here's one for discussion:

Where did all of that concrete structure, underwater at Les Davis, come frome?
The Structure with all of the holes in it?
I was Told it was from an old bridge. Old Narrows? Old Floating Bridge? :dontknow:

I'm just curious if someone knows before I set out on a full scale "Google Search."

I'm not sure where it came from.
I thought it was just concrete slabs from the 80s when they (WDF) were trying to establish habitat for rockfish and the like after the demise of the salmon industry.
Just my .02 cents...
I thought it was pretty cool when I did my OW class there and still think it is fun.
