If I knew how to post a music file, I would, but I don't, so just pull up your own music file of Soundgarden's Spoonman, and substitute these lyrics for Chris Cornell's:

ASSMAN :rr:

Feel the rhythm on your dive
Steal the rhythm while you can, Assman
Make the bubbles on your own.
Make the bubbles with your bud, TomNic
Assman, come together with your plan
Take me, I'm together with your plan
Take me

All my friends are divers too
All my friends wear tanks and regs, Assman
All my friends love to dive
They feel the rhythm with their gas
Assman

Assman, come together with your plan
Take me, I'm together with your plan
Take me

Feel the rhythm on your dive
Steal the rhythm while you can, Assman

you would be more then welcome to us my deep fryer

it heat the chili no need for a nother one I would think the one I am bringing would be just fine for lunch

I have a 7.5 gal tank that should be more then enough fuel I would think

but I could only find 3 gal of oil

do we think that would be enoough I would think so you know it will
expand once it gets hot

Sparky,
if you place the tukey in the pot (still in it's package), add water just untill it's covered,
and then pull out the turkey, you will know exactly how much oil you will need by measuring the amount of water left in the pot.

Works great, every time!

I have my own pot, but thanks I just need the burner.

I am coming down with a cold I hope it blows over #-o

Oh oh! #-o

I just called the Dive shop.

My dry suit neck seal replacement(Which I dropped off on Monday) is not done yet! :angryfire:

Something about the "Dry Room" temp was not warm enough, overnight, and the glue did not set. #-o

{I would tend to think maybe the Glue was not properly mixed} :toimonster:

Anyways, they said, they have to remove the seal and start over. :pale:

11:45 am on Thursday!

I get off work at 2:30 pm and was planning on picking it up today (Thursday).

I may need some help trimming it when I get to the Hood canal tomorrow.

I planned on having the dive shop do it just in case something went wrong.

But I don't think it will be ready for trimming at 2:30 this afternoon.

Worse case scenario, I will have to make another trip, up near the airport, to pick it up later tonight or tomorrow. ](*,)

The packaging of the turkey will not allow precise knowledge of how much oil is necessary because when actually frying, oil will go into the turkey. Of the top of my head, I do not remember if 3 gallons is enough. It doesn't sound right though. First time I tried to fry turkey, got one box of oil from Home Depot. That was not enough. Subsequent attempts got box of oil from Costco, and that was enough. When I get home tonight (late unfortunately) I will look at my frying pot, and by looking at an old oil box I can guesstimate how much oil will be necessary. It is better to have too much oil available than not enough. Need to have the turkey completely covered in oil, otherwise, it will not cook right. I will post tonight what info I figure out at home. Each turkey will take about 30 minutes to fry.

Brrrrrrrrr!

Okay, if you realy think it might fit me, bring it, just in case.

I may even be able to rent one from Hood Sport n Dive.

Thanks BUddy!

You're welcome - It fits me so I'm guessing it'd fit you. I'm sure if it didn't you could rent one.

Here's an idea - since your seal isn't ready maybe the shop should rent you a wetsuit. Just an idea but it might be worth pursuing. I'll throw it in in the hopes that it'll fit. XL farmer john, XL step-in.

I'll throw it in the truck but won't be arriving until Friday evening... may or may not dive Friday night, but if you and Tom are going, I might join you.

We'll be in the huge, loud, white, disel truck pulling the RV/trailer... come over, say hi, and get a wetsuit (that I hope fits!).

i did that keith and 3 gallons covered the Tbirb and just over its butt

so would that be enough or should i find a nother gallon of oil to add to it?

thats the real question i know it will seep in to the bird but it will also expand as it is heated some what
I guess i could stop tomoprrow on my way up to EL Dive Cassia and pick up a nother couple gallons of oil
that would be best huh

Is anything else needed food-wise? I haven't volunteered to bring anything yet. If nothing else I can bring some chips and munchies to share.
