Tim and I went with a great group of divers up to Porpise Bay. Had at least 70ft of vis on the walls, the Chaud wasn't too bad either.

I will check with Tim and see if he wants to stay on Hood Canal or just drive on out early Saturday to dive with everyone.
I am up for staying Sat nite and then diving on Sunday as well. Or are people going on Fri and then leaving Sat night.

Ok...so a couple of us showed up to dive. I saw Larry and his dive buddy, I saw Ron and his dive buddy (name.?.) and then there was another guy that showed up (did he dive?/or not?) and then there was Tim and myself....We all hit the water about 5:45pm and the vis was lousy....the critters minimal.....

I know a lot of people that dive the 104s but then there are a whole group of people that are diving the 130s...it makes it simpler for gas management and dive planning if you can match your buddies tanks...ie. everyone is diving the same tank size. I dive a set of twin HP 80s, for me they are the s...

Well, Thank goodness I had a great instructor... He taught me the visualization techinques and the breathing exercises whilst getting ready for OW, then onto AOW and Wreck and other "deep and scary dives".... It is great and something that I always employ....whether diving with a new buddy...

It gives all dive sites, tidal and current corrections...

Buy a set up for your pony similiar to what you have now. Preferably a high performance, high end regulator...that way when and if you decide to dive twins then you have the second reg right there and dont have to buy again... Of course if you want to get a middle of the road reg for the pony, then ...

Bassman, Not sure if I can make this dive. I would love to go but am in the mist of some work scheduling conflicts. By the looks of things, I think you are going to want to actually hit the water at 5:45pm since "true" slack is at 6:17PM and the corrections in the PNW Shore Dive book..-30m...

What is the confirmed meet time and spot...
