Hollis F1s - XL
Anyone interested in a pair of F1s? I've switched back to jets. They've got some scratches but are in good shape, spring straps show no rust. $75 takes em.

Re: Mask for a large cranium
I have a buddy with a gigantic head, he wears the atomic frameless. I would give the scubapro frameless a shot too. Make sure to try the masks before you buy, especially if you've been having trouble with fit.

Re: HOG regulators
Lamont and I are talking about the same wing. I kept it in a bin in my backseat with most of my other more-fragile items (generally wings, regs, backup lights, masks and fins). I had not dove the wing for awhile and one evening got it out to loan, and it had two mysterious holes in it that caused it...

I can also vouch for Will, I dive with him regularly. He's no sock puppet. Muppet... marionette at worst.

My experience with HOG gear was that it is not particularly durable nor well-made.

Re: Weird Question...
Your depth gauge doesn't really measure depth, it measures pressure. Your gauge is really just an odd sort of pressure gauge that reads in ffw/fsw instead of psi (with unlabeled units, thanks a lot highschool science teachers). If you're under a layer of ice, a boat or a layer of pressurized air (li...

Found: Mask and Snorkel
Hey everyone,
I stumbled upon a mask and snorkel this evening on the south side of cove 2. If they're yours, describe them to me and I'll be sure they get back to you.
Cheers!

Halcyon Spring Straps 12"
I have a pair of 12" Halcyon spring straps for sale. You'll have to track down some pins but I'm willing to be Halcyon would send you some (as they have done for me in the past) for free. These are for Jetfin style fins. $30.

XL Jetfins
Hey NW Dive Club,
I'm trying to track down a pair of used XL jetfins that I can pick up somewhere in Seattle, hopefully in the not-to-distant future. Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!

That picture was somewhat confusing to me until I watched the video. Here's another screen capture that shows a bit more of the tank:

Re: proper sized bc for doubles
Assuming they're HP100s you're looking for a doubles wing with approximately 40lbs of lift. A 40lb doubles wing will also work with most similarly sized tanks with a diameter of 7.25" like Al80s or HP102s. If you're very overweighted, 40lbs might not be enough. That's a weighting problem though...

Re: Scubro DIR Tec systems?
the SP version is very similar, the biggest differences I note is the 'shape' of the wing... big squared off corners(read that as 'another area to trap air').. Keep in mind that you've posted a single tank halcyon wing and that you're comparing it to a double tank scubapro wing. The shapes are (and...

Re: Scubro DIR Tec systems?
Looks like the DIR branded wings have placeholder images. The X-TEK HS WING D.I.R.® states "Ohne Bungee-System" which means "Without Bungee System." Also, if you compare it to the bungied version and the dual bladder version, it's pretty clear that the images have been photoshopp...
