Three tree transformation

Hi I went diving at three tree Friday, Saturday and Monday night, all at high tide. It was interesting to see the change in the site over those days. Friday -- decent viz at depth, horrible viz in the shallows, not many jelly fish around at all Saturday -- lots of jellies. In the shallows I felt lik...

Great diving with you and great pics, eliseaboo. Wow, that was a big shimp riding a jelly. Usually you only see the very tiny shrimp riding the jellies!

Re: TTN 5-17-2012 Unofficial Club Dive

Thanks to Keith for hosting another excellent gathering... Here are some pics. We also so a nice big sea pen, which was a nice surprise, however, it was so murky where we found it my camera was unable to focus on it! :) Viz below was quite nice, however! Hopefully I can make it too. Got to see how busy work is though. I also work in Bellevue if anybody else would like to try to carpool from that general area.

Re: First Time at Fox Island Bridge

Nice report and pics! You're right, that is a cool purple pattern on that star....

I've only dove the bridge once, but really liked it. Like you, we didn't see many fish either, but lots of other nice stuff.

I'd love to go back some time!

Re: San Juans Trip Report

Hi Yes, same setup: Nikon d70 with Ikelite housing and dual strobes. There were quite a few puget sound king crabs around. I was more surprised by lack of candy stripe shrimp -- we only found one despite lots of snakelock anemones. I got to try some new-to-me sites on this trip, including Davidson R...

Hi!
Mind if I join you guys? For me it would likely be the second dive only.
What's on the south side of the boat ramp, I don't know that site super well.

Re: Nipple sponges at Day Island

Nice pic showing them off with the crab. Where about? One the wall? N/S, Depth? Just curious. Hi They were found along the top edge of the wall, just a bit south from the cutout on the wall perpendicular from the shore entrance. Where there's the small ledge that runs parallel just above the main w...

Looking for night dive buddies w-f jan 4-6

Hi! I'm looking for night dive buddies to go diving w-f jan 4-6. I'm interested in photography diving, but up for anything between Tacoma and Everett. I also have a scooter and rebreather if extended range is your thing, but I try to pair well with anyone. I'm mostly just interested in getting wet a...

Richmond Beach Park critter collection

Hi My kids' marine life class is having a field trip to Richmond Beach next week to do some beach combing. A buddy and I are thinking of going on a dive to bring up some critters for the class to see. Does anybody know anything about diving Richmond Beach Park? It looks like a long walk to the beach...

Edmonds Oil Dock

Hi I've heard from many that edmonds oil dock is no more, and the site is now desolate. Yet I heard from somebody else that the pilings are still there, just cut below the surface? (although near the surface was of course the best part of the site). Can somebody confirm? If nothing else, it seems li...
