Attacks
Yes, Lings on eggs Dec through March and cabbies will attack. I've been hit by both. I try to give the egg watching lings a wide birth and the cabbies that tend to hold their ground will often lunge. Theres one on Orchard Rocks that's the biggest I've ever seen. He is best viewed from a few feet away.
