Re: New diver(s) in Beaverton

I second the suggestion to take a dry suit class and get a cert. The class will give you some good initial time in a suit and that is important, and it will give you the flexibility to rent a suit from any shop. When I took the class we were able to dive two different suits that were both shells. As...

Re: Waterproof vs Weezle Undergarment

Thanks for the replies. I'll take a look at Fourth Element, hadn't considered them. I went the route of REI underwear with my first drysuit and still have two sets of them, though not sure either are the heavyweight that you're referring to, worth checking out as well.

Waterproof vs Weezle Undergarment

Wondering how the Waterproof stacks up against the Weezle and if anyone can offer up their opinions or experiences. I've been diving a Waterproof for a while and it seems that the water is getting colder or that dang age factor is kicking in and in either case those longer dives aren't as much fun.

Howdy from Portland

New to the site, just found it via Scuba Board today, but not new to diving. Have been diving for a few years and logged a few dives. Like others in Portland do the trek to the Sound usually once a month. Since I started dragging a camera a while back pretty much have been solo diving, but won't eve...
