http://www.king5.com/topstories/stories/NW_112607WAB_boat_rescue_seattle_TP.4004868f.html how deep and where? :) (the boaters were rescued) [edit] sorry... just realized this probably isn't the best place to post this (until the environmental survey is done, the boat is safe to dive, and I have dire...

$640 was for the computer ... no transmitter. MSRP is something like $699. FWIW - I've never owned an air-integrated computer. Never felt the need to spend that kind of money ... a $50 SPG works just fine for me. I got the Vytec because it offered features the Vyper didn't have. Turns out I can get...

Oh, now that's tempting. Any word when the Vytek2 will be out, Amy? I'm holding out for that one. \:D/ she is talking about the oceanics, not the suuntos. the oceanic warranty was tempting to me (after a salesman at a local LDS was extolling the virtues of oceanics warranty), but the discount you g...

I just sent my Vytec in for service ... it developed a tendency to read a depth shallower than it was actually at. Often when I hit 10 feet it would tell me I was at the surface. Damned inconvenient for deco. i'm with you. if your computer is going to have issues, you want it to just totally die......

sky is the limit on drying racks
this is the first one of these i have seen. it has a hookup for air so it dries from boots on out. http://skooba-spot.blogspot.com/2007/07/ultimate-drysuit-drying-rack.html probably best way to keep the suit fresh besides waxing the zipper is the rinse in fresh water with some anti stink, then get i...

Neither was the one that someone saw the other night (wasn't cut up). One was probably three feet, the other probably 2.5 f...

diving tonight?
Hey y'all.
I really got a hankerin' to go for a dive or two tonight. Could make it by 6:30 (7 probably better due to traffic coming from bellevue). Was thinking alki or mukilteo. but am open to suggestions.
Anyone else want to go? Write back and lets make a plan. I need at least one other.![:) :)](./images/smilies/smile.gif)

this is great
after weeks of being frustrated every weekend trying to drum up dives with my limited dive buddy pool, find a scheduled shop fun dive, or pre-scheduled club dive to go on... i realize that if i had come here first i could probably have just posted "anyone want to dive tonight at X, Y or Z"...

So, dove three tree with the Marker Bouys on sunday and met Sparky and Lostinbrownsmead who told me about this forum/club. Been reading a bunch of posts while waiting for the account to get approved. Wish I had gotten on sooner and I would have met you guys at cove II. I am in the Seattle area. Got ...
