Coastal Dive June 22-23?
A beginner possibly headed to the Oregon Coast this coming weekend. I am wondering if anyone could join me for a couple of dives. Open to locations for now. We have some time to get outta town and are considering the coast. Thanks!

Re: Truck for a dive vehicle: What is your Pick?
Thanks to all the respondents to this thread! I was curious about what works for different people. Many of us use vehicles that we have for our work or general use. Amongst others here I have a Dodge 4WD extended cab 4 door. It has a Cummins and a 6 speed for pulling the heavily loaded goose-neck tr...

Truck for a dive vehicle: What is your Pick?
A great question about what kind of car to use for diving. But, what about pickups, vans and such? Some places are not easy to get to without ground clearance or 4WD. Not to mention potential room for gear in the bed and cab size comfort for the divers. The downsides: The potential security issue wi...

Re: Missing $5 at Wallowa Lake?
Wallowa Lake is at the end of Oregon hwy. 82 out of La Grande. From La Grande it is an 80 mile drive. Nice boat ramps at the north and south ends. There is a small marina at the south end. State park with camping and plenty of other tourist interests for adults and kids, including the Mt. Howard Tra...

Missing $5 at Wallowa Lake?
Buddy Tom and I finally got ourselves up the road to Wallowa Lake today. Being novices we took our time to get prepared and finally get in the water at the lower end boat ramp near Joseph. A great Fall day. Leaves turning color, mild air temps, partial clouds. Fresh snow above 6,000 ft. After gettin...

Re: Welcome Oregon Divers!
Thanks to Sparky, a friend and I stopped in at Garibaldi Scuba about 1 month ago. Dick was very friendly and we bought a few items. But I must say the supply of current items seemed to be small. We hope Dick or someone else keeps a shop open in the Tillamook area.

Re: Grey Market Equip Problems?
About 6 months ago I bought an Aqua-Lung Titan LX 1st/2nd stage and Calypso Octo from Leisure Pro. Recently I had a LDS Aqua-Lung dealer do a environmental kit upgrade on the first stage. All parts work well. No questions of where it was bought. I am sure I entered the regs into the Aqua-Lung warran...

Discontinued DUI drysuit model
Looking over a slightly used DUI suit seems to be vulcanized rubber. I guess it is a discontinued model. I don't have the model designation. Wondering if any one has any usage reports, cautions as to the suit etc.?
Thanks!
