Wanted: Charger for Salvo (Light Monkey) 10W HID

Mysteriously, the chargers for mine and my husband's 10W HID Salvo lights disappeared in our move to Everett. As soon as I buy a new one, I'm sure they'll show up.... I don't know the technical aspects of the chargers, only that the end pieces that hook to our batteries are different on each of our ...

Re: A wing ding deal for new BP/W wannabes

The description says it would work with either singles or doubles. Would it really fit 'appropriately' for a singles tank? Does anyone know if there'd be an issue with using an OMS steel backplate with it?

Thanks!

Yep, wanted them right there and then. But I can see it being uncomfortable if going to a bp/w at the same time, as it took me awhile to start liking my bp/w.

Thanks kdupreez! Loved those doubles, and what an unexpectedly great critter dive! Added clingfish and a large squid hanging out chomping a fish to my 'seen' list! The little octo was the cutest though, and sailfins are always a treat. Thanks for being such a great buddy!

Bassman - you and me baby! Ok, I'm not really going to join you for a 120+ foot dive....

That said, I'm sure I can make it, as I live 15 minutes away, and the Muk is my crabbing playground.

I also have a couch for anyone cat, dog, and very jumpy puppy tolerant.

Re: Bering Wolfish

FYI - the Bering wolffish is similar to our wolf eel, but you can easily distinguish the two by looking at their tails. The caudal fin (tail) of the wolf eel is confluent with the dorsal and anal fins (they're all merged), and it comes to a point (more like an eel). The dorsal, caudal, and anal fins...

Re: Mask Borrowed at the Muk

I borrowed a black mask from someone at Mukilteo the 30th of July for my husband, who had forgotten his own mask. Unfortunately, we were not able to get the mask back to the person before he left. I really hope to get it back to this person, as we really appreciated his willingness to let us use it...

Re: Ever caught your own dinner? Another reason to visit FL!

When you coming to hit up Neah Bay!? The crab are opening July 1, and you know spiny's just don't hold up to dungies... apparently when/if I get stationed there again. I was gonna come this year, but Momma put the keebash on that. I think she is worried that I've forgotten how to use a drysuit. :-)...

Re: Ling Cod slot limits - how's that working out for ya?

I'll reiterate what whatevah said: "What I have learned is that individual concerns are filed in the round file marked "trash" whether they have merit or not. It doesn't matter if thousands of spearfishers write individually with the same valid concerns: we'll be ignored. The only voi...

Re: Ling Cod slot limits - how's that working out for ya?

Well said... er, written :) I see people clearly bottom fishing alot - outside of ling season and over reefs. They are not targeting sole and rockfish are closed in areas 9 and 10. Sure they could be taking cabbies... but color me skeptical. Could be Cabezon - or flatfish of various varieties - or K...

But now they're going to get your money anyways... welcome the new Discovery Pass! Many years ago, when I shot my first deer, I was so excited I forgot to tag the deer in what the Idaho fish and game calls a "timely fashion". Guess who drove up shortly after I shot the deer. After my conta...

Re: Ling Cod slot limits - how's that working out for ya?

That is basically the same response as all the others. I'd like them to clarify "enforcement success" - do they mean that spearfishermen tried to show them the error of their ways, were ignored, and finally gave up? "Enforcement success" does not mean that fish are going unwasted...
