I ask because I went to Hornby Island in September and for some reason froze my butt off and this is more north than Hornby ... We will have a nice big house on the water- No camping for this girl!! So it should be nice- its just trying to pick the right week to go ...

Has anyone dove near Lund BC ??
I recently purchased a week at a cabin (home) at Bliss Landing BC which is about 6 miles north of Lund. I am trying to plan our trip there & I am not sure whern the best time to go is. Has anyone been there or can you make some suggestions for me ? Thanks

I love that!!! here is one I was taking of the alabaster & when I got it home on a big monitor-now ya gotta look close - at about 4o'clock toward the center , on the blue area is an almost see thru nudi!!!

good point Tom- I try to read ANYTHING scuba !!! is the book youre reading Diver Down http://www.amazon.com/Diver-Down-Michael-R-Ange/dp/0071445722 ???? I read that one as a new diver... It was good for me to read about all the instuctors & people who had plenty of experience, making mistakes.. ...

I think you guys were getting in as we were getting out... well , we went back for more last night.... We got out past the bug on the way to the dome when the current really started kickin'. I have not seen the current that strong there before. Yowzers!

I saw this one at Titlow the end of August & it seemed like it was dying - I kinda wooshed the water toward it & It looked like it was disintegrating...?? any ideas?

Ok nevermind . I checked with Andy Lamb & he said it is a Pacific ancula( Ancula pacifica) and it is in the big book but from a different angle...

This is the hugest scallop I have ever seen! My buddy found it & by the time he got my attention it closed up. but It had to have been the size of a side salad plate!!

Can anyone tell me what this is? At first I thought it was a nudi , but a friend said it was a tunicate- regardless , I cant find an id for it in my books thanks
