Re: Cleaning out the closet
I could use a ScubaPro S600 2nd stage. Mine is about 18 years old and the plastic body is now degraded and cracking. If you can pick out the cleanest of the two and share a picture, I'll take it if its in good shape.

Were you all feeding sausages to the Pygmy Seahorse? That is the most portly and rotund little guy I've ever seen!
Awesome photos everyone! Looks like you have amazing adventures and earned lots of new stories to tell.
Cheers,

Shocking, I know! My upgrade-itis is your gain! You too can buy an amazing D800 full frame camera with a top of the line Nauticam housing for about $2K. Re: How do you secure and protect your camera?
I don't think this is a real world problem. Bolt snaps are used the world over for securing Stage Bottles, Cameras, etc. If cave divers are okay with it then so am I. A good steel or brass bolt snap is going to be very secure and i've not had one fall of randomly in a Dozen years and 1,000 dives wit...

https://www.opticaloceansales.com/coiled-webbing-lanyard-bolt-snap.html A >good< coiled lanyard like the one above. Brass or stainless steel, attached to the handle of the camera housing. Avoid the crappy plastic ones and don't use the same one for ten years until is disintegrates. I've had the same...

The forecast at 7pm in Redondo is about 9-10 mph WSW. I'd be happy to dive ThreeTree if that works better.

Re: Hello from Roatan!
Glad you made it! I'm curious why it was such a challenging flight. I went there a few times, years ago, and I recall something like a 4 hour flight to Houston and another few hours to Roatan. There was the time I got food poisoning eating in the Houston airport on the way home, but better the less ...

Re: Sixgill @ Redondo 8/2
Amazing experience Derek! Great pictures. I didn't see the shark but I did get a consolation prize of a Giant Skate!! It was at least 4 feet long and 3 feeet wide. Biggest one I've ever seen. It buzzed past me as I hung out at 90 - 100 feet waiting for the SixGill. Redondo Aug 2 2018 (9 of 61).jpg R...
