I see these in a couple places, both exposed coast areas... only one valve, always deeply embedded in rocks...
I feel like this should be easy, but for some reason is not.
any ideas?
thanks,
Scott

I've seen 'em too - always out near the coast (like Neah Bay area) - just one tube sticking out. Just WEIRD.

I'm guessing it's a siphon of a kellyclam (Kellia suborbicularis). Instead of both siphons sticking out the same end, they have one at each end.
