Hahaha! I'll say it again for today (10-23-11), yes, I dove again today with Jeremy around 1500 at EUP. Viz was marginal at 15 FSW.

Met Bassman at TTN after his work early this AM - viz was a solid 50-60' - just gorgeous.

If Cardiver had showed up I'd say viz was 61'.

Get out and dive, people!

Redondo tonight...saw Bob again. I didnt have high expectation for viz as there was a chop and a fairly good size ebbing exchange. However I was wrong. Tons of Sailfin Sculpins and Gunnels. 4 or 5 red octos, 3 GPO's, Greenlings, a few stubby squid, and Bob.

In spite of wind driven waves Three Tree North had 30' of viz, or if Ron agrees with me - 31. :)

I did the West Seattle Fishing Reef off of the Aluminator today and it was the best viz I've seen there at 30 ft, possibly 40. Incredible numbers of shiner perch, the other perch varieties, several handsome vermillion rock fish, and lingcod o'plenty. We also saw a monstrous sea lion checking out the boat at the surface. The water was so calm we could see another team making their ascent and tell who was who from the deck of the boat when they were 20 feet below the surface.

I'm tempted to do some deeper dives with this kind of viz and can only hope it's as good past 150 as well.

WOW! What a nice show you got! Good thing you had the camera... otherwise you would have been written off as a lunatic. "Yeah, he swam by us in the water column a couple of times, showing off!"

Viz at 3T was at least 30' at depth- call it 40-50' and down- really good.

Cove 2 yesterday was about 20 ft viz above 80 ft and only about 10 ft viz at 100-120 ft. Viz was close to zero where the open water class was diving.

Pretty decent viz at Redondo tonight. 10-15 which was much better than I thought given the breaking surf there yesterday!
