Saw this on the BBC and thought it was truly interesting! Discovered off the Farallones Island, south of San Francisco. No mention of depth....

From the NOAA Site:
In September 2009, a NOAA/Fugro multibeam sonar survey of the area around Farallon Islands documented a probable shipwreck with an estimated length of 52m (170ft) at a depth of 56.5m (185ft).

Not a walk in the park but definitely diveable. You'd have to choose the timing of your trip carefully - The Farallon Islands are a Great White feeding hotspot.

Phil Sammet indicated he was already starting to plan a trip out there.

Looking like a sea lion would be especially bad.BillZ wrote: You'd have to choose the timing of your trip carefully - The Farallon Islands are a Great White feeding hotspot.
