i might be down for a dive if anyone wants to stay above 65ft or so with me. can usually take off of work a bit early, too, if someone can meet a little sooner ...

good to know, calvin ... i wasn't too worried!

cuppie, i'm only planning to do one dive as well - it'll already be late for me by the time we're done, and i'm not really ready to do any night diving yet. some day soon, though!

(i might be up for a thursday afternoon/early evening dive, too, but i need to see how the week unfolds a bit more first.)

Once my back is cleared for diving, I'll be joining you up north and at cove 2 (depending on that week's schedule). Just when I finally have all my gear together, I'm stuck with physical therapy.

When driving home after diving at Mukilteo, just be very weary of 20yo girls #-o from Whidbey Is. #-o driving their blue VW beatle #-o 20mph over the speed limit #-o , on the phone #-o , changing her radio #-o , while admittedly being nervous of driving "over here because of all the cars #-o , traffic #-o , and stop lights." #-o If you see her, tell her she owes me a new crab boiling pot. :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:

that sucks, sounder. i had physical and massage therapy for a few months and totally missed out on the ski season. :-( just take it easy with the heavy lifting and any weird movements so your tissues can heal and you'll be back in the water soon enough. maybe you can get a tank sherpa to help you in/out of the water ... not much heavy lifting going on underwater! at least, no usually ... hope you're feeling better soon!

Strapping me in and rolling me off the back of the boat was suggested (thanks Tom Nic!), but unfortunately I'm dry for now.

Anyway, just be careful on the Mukilteo Speedway - we were stopped at a light for over a minute before she hit us... at 40+mph. Lots of people speed there... I suppose it's appropriately named "speed-way."

My cold hasn't kicked yet, so I won't be able to join you guys this week, but I'm in for a T-dock dive next week. Anybody want to dive the park if the tides look good?

super-big thanks to diverdown for a super-awesome dive!!! :smt038
it was my first drysuit dive and therefore also my first time diving upside down. :pale:
i'm definitely glad we did that on purpose, though ...
because now know i NEVER want to do it again. :salute:
it was also my deepest dive ever. \:D/
(i found out that when i'm deeper, somehow it's much easier to equalize.)
and ... it was the first time i got to see an octopus!!!
it wasn't really big, but it was SO CUTE. =D>
i was rather bummed i didn't have my camera, but i didn't want to distract myself on my first drysuit dive.
diverdown is a great buddy!!! :supz: he showed me some really cool things - fun stuff underwater!
and he was always looking out for me and making sure i was Image ... yay!

btw, what's up with the saltwater infiltration into your reg when you're upside down? (i didn't like that one bit!!!)

I did my first dry dive w/ DiverDown, too. He's a great dive buddy, and excellent teacher.
