I would do a $160 OC dive, maybe not every month but a few times a year. But I'd freeze on deco in March, this March esp.
Yeah, all true. But I probably do 15-20 deep dives a year. That would start adding up pretty fast.
Its not so much the cost, its the short bottom times to frozen nipples ratio...

Ball park filling my own:
40cf O2 = $12
80cf 50% = $8
40cf 35/25 = $15
260 + 80cf of 12/65 = $120
Total about $160. Retail prices I would guess would be 2x.
I havent bought gas in 5 years. But, I could buy 300cf of O2 for <$30 then, why are you paying so much for O2? IIRC you were getting your gas cheaper than I was???
How much is 300cf of welding grade He these days? $100?

I buy O2 in 125cf tanks. With tax they are about $20. 280cf of helium with tax is $135 on my account. I also have to drive about 30-35 minutes each way to get them at 16mpg :( One thing that really nukes me is the booster, seems like my garage electricity bill (its a seperate 200 amp service) has almost doubled since I bought the booster.
