Driftwood Park, August 10th dive.
I watched at two spots on the small tire reef the Grateful Decorator Crabs what looked like cleaning stuff off the skin of Buffalo sculpin.
The crabs were covered with the egg capsules of Wrinkled Dogwinkle snails.

What did I see?
One healthy Sunflower star and one juvenile Puget Sound crab.
Skeleton shrimp on Bull kelp, looks like munching on snail eggs.

I agree, it is a hopeful sign, lets hope that Sunflower star will return to our waters...

Also known as Candyland by some divers.
Of course, there is much more to enjoy besides the Candy stripe shrimp...
