I believe you need to start by having the photo stored on a web location to start with
Posted: Wed Mar 29, 2006 8:13 pm
by Dave
then you an just click "img" enter the path to your photo then "img" and you are done...you may have to right click and choose show picture when you post,,,,,Calvin can probably explain an easier way...

All you have to do is this:
Simply paste in a URL (
http://www.....). Select the whole thing and hit the "Img" button. BAM!

that is my understanding. But you could upload a picture into the gallery on NW Dive Club and add it to your post
that way.....
Spark' if you right click on a picture and and copy it's path, paste it into your post highlight the whole path you just posted and click on the img button it should work. It doesn't work on a "my space" or any other path if you don't copy the entire address. It should end usually with an img extension like .jpg or .bmp...

I fixed your photos diverdown and Sparky. I know it's a bit confusing but here is how you do it. You basically get to a web page where the photo is that you want to post, then right click that image and select "open image in new window", or "copy image address" this is the address you need. It should look something like
http://www.blahblahblah.jpg
Then, you take this address and surround it by the tags like this
You can do this either by typing it out or just paste the address of the image in, select it and press the 'Img' button.
Let me know if this is confusing, give it a try.
(Sparky, I had to replace your image because the one you were trying to upload had some strange microsoft thing going on where it didn't end in .jpg)

diverdown, that is still the address of the page itself. when you open the image in it's own page the photo will be the only thing there, no blue, no buttons, just the photo and white background.
For instance
comes from this address:
http://www.nwdiveclub.com/gallery/d/377 ... re+007.jpg
surrounded by:
Fish
