Elephant Wall and Cockerell's Dorid Appearance

Dale and I returned to Flagpole and Elephant Wall today after a one month absence from the Hood. Viz was a bit milky on top - due to silt from the rain run off of this past week. Below 40 feet - the view cleared up quite a bit! At Flagpole, there are now two Octos on eggs. One batch of eggs looks like they are about ready to hatch! The other cluster of eggs is much newer.
At Elephant Wall - our resident Warbonnet was out further than usual and made for some nice poses. Between 70 and 90 feet - there are quite a few Wolf Eels in residence, including a rather large Wolf Eel pair. Also - Dale spotted the first of this season's Cockerell's Dorids. We have not seen any CD's for over three months - and then we only had one sighting. Here's hoping for more! I used my 60mm macro lens with the 2x wet lens diopter for the Cockerell's Dorid shots.
