OK guys. It is safe to return to the waters. According to Greg Jensen, shrimp expert, it is a shrimp larva.
His quote: " It is a shrimp larva of the genus Pandalopsis, either P. dispar or one of my babies, the sparkling shrimp P. lucidirimicola. These are very large (for larvae) and hatch at quite an advanced stage. The things that seem to be on its back are actually an outer branch of the legs that are used for swimming; these are lost once it becomes a juvenile."
