Hi
I went back to look for the squid that we saw at Three Tree the other day. I found the egg pile -- but no squid. Oh well.
Here are a few of the other sights:
Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker @ 15 feet
Blood star
Sunflower star
Skeleton Shrimp
Skeleton Shrimp "Hiking" a sponge
Decorator Crab decorating himself
Tube Snout
Hydroids
I didn't know Skeleton Shrimp had such bright eyes (zoom in to see)
Winged Snail
Moon Jelly
Eggs found near a Sailfin Sculpin

It's really fricken hard to get good shots of those pacific stomach wings. (Pacific winged stomach? Jan Kocian ID'ed them for me awhile ago.)
Nice shot!
Nice shot!
Re: Three Tree Dec 1
Fantastic picture of the PSL! Can you tell me what aperture you used and how "big" this little guy was?
Thanks, Keith

Re: Three Tree Dec 1
Hi! Glad you guys like the pics!
I got lucky on that Winged Snail... I only got 2 or 3 shots on him before he decided to fold up and sink to the bottom.
The PSL was shot at F/11, 1/125 -- the setting of almost all my shots, based on a recommendation by DLH on this board. It was about the apparent size of a quarter -- meaning it was actually smaller.
