Redondo was bad tonight until 15fsw or so, then it opened up to a chunky 15-20ft, all the way to the end of the deep line.

Day Island Wall was about 20-25' and Fox Island Bridge was 15'. Both were fantastic dives.
Re: Viz Reports Thread
15 feet viz at the Keystone Pilings and about 10 feet at the jetty! Tons of painted greenlings everywhere! Had 2 great dives!

Leschi wall is located at Madrona park on lake Washington . Begin dive at the swimming platforms, head straight out to 50 ffw, turn left and kick for about five min and you should run into the wall. Wall decends to about 185 ffw.
Re: Viz Reports Thread
Alki Junkyard was awful yesterday. Some areas were less than 5' of vis. Did clear up in the shallows to about 10-12', still no bueno though.

Sund Rock was fantastic. About 10' in the shallows, but in the 25-120' range, vis was 35'+. It was pretty late in the day. And I didn't even use my can light on either dive. The first dive was to 120' without a can light.
Re: Viz Reports Thread
Went to the San Juan's yesterday on the Banditos.
It was great!!!! But we only did 2 dives instead of 3. It was kinda windy and waivy on the way out.
1st dive was at broken point west wall. I saw lots of shrimp, a cool Octo tried to grab my light (DLH let me borrow his light), lots of rockfish, sea squirts, gobis, every kind of nudibranch in all sizes!!! Even a HUGE Hooded Nudi in the water Column, a few cool Jellys, lots of sea cucumbers California and white, hermit crabs, helmet crabs in love, top snails. Not great viz about 5-10 at 50 feet down a little better at safety stop.
2nd dive was O'Neil island, lots of gobies, lots of zoanthids, more super cute shrimp!!! A really crazy looking spiky crab (he looked like part urchin), barnacles, Huge Red Urchins, everyone saw Tiger Rock fish but me, more nudis, cool kelp, 2nd dive was silty, viz was like 10-15 feet from top to 60 feet down.
Hope you all have a great day!

Dived Mukilteo T-dock yesterday, visibility was about 15 feet. An octopus has taken up residence at the geo dome!

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Sund Rock was quite good (25ft or so I'd say) from the surface to 10ft and from 30ft on down with peas soup in between.
Re: Viz Reports Thread
Great viz at Eagle point in the San Juan islands today! 20-30 feet from top to 50' Down. It was beautiful above & below the sea!

Sunday 6-7-15 dives:
Point Hudson was 10'~, I guess about normal for this time of year, but definitely not as good as I've seen it.
The Ranger was -1…. can we use negative numbers???? LoL! I was right off of bike_reck_ben's fin and couldn't see his bright white tank. That's 0-2 on the The Ranger for me, one of these days I'd actually like to see the dang thing.

Cove 2, Monday June 8: 5-10ft viz.
Re: Viz Reports Thread
6/8 Keystone Jetty 15 - 20 feet. Once the fog burned off it was beautiful sunshine. It's been a long time since I dove there it was just as I remembered it. Great day for a drive on Whidbey Island.

Edmonds Underwater Park
15 ft of viz (even in 22 ft of water)
(Also, this sea anemone seems to have a transparent tongue. Is that normal?) - Carl

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Good to hear some good viz reports. Was that anemone perhaps eating a jelly?

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Viz today at Cove 2 was silty above 35 feet, but cleared up nicely down below, opening up to around 20-25 feet in some places. Surprising after yesterday's "excavation".
