Dive Concept dryglove replacement tool
Dive Concept dryglove replacement tool
I have the Dive Concepts dryglove system, and I need to replace a glove. I know you can make a tool to aid in the R and R of these gloves, does anybody offhand remember the kind of pipe and diameter that I need?

Hi George,
I use a 4" pipe with an outside groove to keep the large gasket in place when you collapse and expand that pipe.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

Hi Gdog!
You don't need a tool, I can show you next time I see you. There are also videos on the net.

I use a pair of "A" clamps ... takes about a minute to change a glove ...

If you decide to use a tool let me know George. I've made a couple and can make you one.

Re: Dive Concept dryglove replacement tool
I use my pvc pipe tool just like in the video, but I'm down to also want to learn how Bob does it with clamps.

Re: Dive Concept dryglove replacement tool
You need a set of these $5 2" spring clamps. I've changed DC gloves many times in just 1 or 2 minutes using a couple of these clamps to hold the glove on the ring as you slide it over the ring.

I do it with the clamps now but it can still be a pain in my opinion. I am interested in trying this tool out as it makes a lot of sense.
**Pinch it, don't stick your finger through. You're just pinching a bigger hole.
