snail party

I don't know who was happier, the snails for finding each other or the sea star for finding the party!



I assume they are doing what i think they are doing? just confusing knowing their anatomy doesn't seem like much of advantage to find more than one snail... I see this alot, but also see them getting down to business in pairs



any light on that would be appreciated.
